Employee guide
1Sign in the first time
Your company's administrator creates your login and gives you a temporary password.
- Go to wageharbor.com and sign in with your work email and the temporary password.
- Click your email at the top right to open Account settings, choose Password and set a new password only you know.
- Recommended: on the same page, turn on Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, so nobody else can get into your pay information.
Your company's name and logo show at the top of every page, so you always know you're in the right place.
2Your dashboard
After signing in you see your Dashboard: your last paycheck (with a View pay stub button), your time-off balances, company announcements and upcoming holidays. A short Words of wisdom card appears at the bottom left. Press for another saying or to close it.
The menu on the left has everything that's yours under Me. On a phone, tap at the top left to open it.
3My pay
Open My pay to see:
- Your year-to-date gross pay, taxes, deductions and net pay.
- Every pay stub for the year (choose another year from the list).
- Where your pay goes (direct deposit accounts, shown masked) and your benefits & deductions.
A new pay stub appears as soon as your company marks that payroll as paid.
4View and print a pay stub
- In My pay, click a pay stub.
- Check your earnings, taxes, deductions and year-to-date totals.
- Click Print / save PDF. Choose your printer, or pick Save as PDF to keep a copy, for example for a loan or rental application.
5Clock in and out
If you're paid by the hour, open My time:
- Press Clock in when you start and Clock out when you finish.
- Forgot? Under Add hours manually, enter the date, hours and type, then click Add entry.
- The cards show your hours this week, this period and how many are pending approval. Your timesheet below lists each entry; use the arrows to see other pay periods.
Your manager approves your time before payroll. Only approved hours are paid.
6Request time off
- Open My time off to see your vacation and sick-leave balances and the company holidays.
- Click Request time off, choose the type, the first and last day and the hours (weekdays × 8 is filled in for you), add a note for your manager and Submit request.
- Your request shows as Pending until your manager approves it. You can Cancel a pending request, or an approved one that hasn't started yet.
7Your details and W-4
Open My profile:
- Contact: preferred name, phone, home address and emergency contact.
- Tax withholding (W-4): your federal W-4 (filing status, dependents, other income, deductions, extra withholding) and state withholding. Changes apply from your next paycheck.
- My documents: files your company has shared with you.
To change your bank account, contact HR. For your security, bank changes are made and verified by your company.
8For managers
If you have the Manager role, you also see a Team section in the menu:
- Timesheets: tick your team's entries and click Approve selected before each payroll.
- Time-off requests: Approve or Deny. Approving deducts the balance and adds the hours to the timesheet.
9Questions
- I forgot my password.
- Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page, or ask your administrator to reset it. They'll give you a new temporary password.
- My pay stub isn't there yet.
- Pay stubs appear once your company marks that payroll as paid, usually on or just before payday.
- Something on my pay stub looks wrong.
- Contact your HR or payroll person. They can correct it on the next payroll.
- Who can see my pay and personal details?
- Only people at your own company with an HR, Payroll or Admin role, and your manager for your time. Nobody at other companies can see your data. Your Social Security and bank numbers are encrypted.
